PASSIVES: Trimmable chip resistors offer more package sizes

eeProductCenter
Raleigh, N.C. — Stackpole Electronics has expanded the FCR series of trimmable chip resistors with the addition of 0402 and 2512 case sizes. The series is now available in 0603 to 2512 package sizes.

The FCR series is available in resistance values from 1 ohm up to 1 Megohm with a standard temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of 200 ppm/°C. Resistance tolerance options include +/-5%, +/-10%, +/-15%, +0/-20%, and +0/-30%. The devices are 100% RoHS compliant.

The FCR series is a thick-film resistive technology device that is not laser trimmed and does not have a passivation coating. This allows the end user to place the part in the end product and then calibrate or tune the circuit to the desired parameters using a laser or abrasion wheel on the resistive element itself. The FCR resistors are well-suited for instrumentation, metering, monitoring, and measurement equipment.

Pricing: Ranges from approximately $22 per thousand to $55 per thousand in minimum quantities, depending on size, tolerance and ranges.
Datasheet: FCR series
