DISCRETES: SSRs deliver high speed, high-frequency switching

eeProductCenter
Carrollton, Tex. — TT electronics OPTEK Technology has introduced a family of solid-state relays that are offered in hockey puck (panel mount), SIP1 and SIP2 packages. The OSSR series relays incorporate a zero crossing circuit that minimizes current and noise surges due to resistive and inductive loads.

The OSSR series solid-state relays are available in three configurations: DC input/AC output with an input range from 4 Vdc to 32 Vdc, load current to 40 A and load voltage to 480 Vac; AC input/AC output with an input range from 5 Vac to 12 Vac, 4 Vac to 32 Vac and 100 Vac to 240 Vac, with a load current to 40 A and load voltage to 480 Vac; and DC input/DC output with an input range of 4 Vdc to 24 Vdc, load current to 3 A and load voltage to 100 Vac.

The solid-state relays are specified for applications ranging from white goods and appliances, to industrial and packaging equipment, robotics, motor controls and electric vehicles, as well as HVAC and alarm systems.

Pricing: Typically ranges from $8 to $28 in quantities of 1 to 99 pieces, depending on the model selected.
