Simulators

Intec Automation offers demo software and a live microcontroller connected to the web to enable engineers to experience first hand accessing and programming microcontrollers over the web. Based upon a drag and drop concept, microCommander enables engineers to configure microcontrollers using standard proven and easily understood components such as switches, indicator lights, gauges, strip chart recorders, and PID controllers. microCommander can remotely access microcontrollers over the Internet. This provides the capability of remotely re-programming a microcontroller, controlling it, and gathering information from the remote embedded application.

This download is a demonstration of the MPC555Bench product. Its main feature is the Motorola MPC555 PowerPC-based controller simulator. The MPC555 has a slew of peripherals that are useful to control anything from automobile systems and engines to medical and aeronautics applications. The Demo screen initially displays the Analog experimental section of the Bench where one can wire together arbitrary analog circuits and send voltages to the MPC555's QADC peripheral. The Simulator can connect directly to the Green Hills MULTI Debugger. The MPC555Bench product is available, but is still considered Beta software.
Lauterbach offers free debuggers with simulators. These tools let you download code compiled by 3rd party compilers. Simulators are available for PowerPC,68k,Coldfire, TriCore, C167,80186, SH2,68HC08, 68HC11, 68HC12, 68HC16, H8300, H8S, ARM7, ARM9, V85x, Z80, MIPS SH3, SH4 and ST10.
